From pre-conception to six weeks postpartum, your midwife will provide complete care! Midwives in Texas are required to be nationally certified and state licensed. We provide total prenatal, postpartum and newborn care for women (and their babies) who have healthy, uncomplicated pregnancies and births. Pregnancy and birth with a midwife is such a magical experience, one that will be held close to your heart forever!

  • Total prenatal care – personal, in home, appointments
  • OB Panel and standard lab screenings
  • In-home Labor Evaluations & Homebirth
  • Waterbirth (if one is desired)
  • VBAC1
  • Immediate postpartum and newborn care 2
  • Postpartum care (Five standard visits, for the first six weeks)
  • Newborn and well baby care up to six weeks after birth 3
  • Breastfeeding assistance
  • Birth Kit / Medical Birthing Supplies 4
  • Newborn Screen
  • Service referrals (ultrasounds, physician “co-care”, etc)
  • 24 hour phone availability to current clients


Fees for midwifery services: $3325.00
This fee still covers all prenatal appointments (in home, no physician co-care is needed for normal, uncomplicated pregnancies), homebirth, waterbirth services (tub rental is extra), birth kit, postpartum care (immediately after birth to 6 weeks postpartum), breastfeeding assistance and newborn/well baby care up to 6 weeks. Not included in this fee: Ooptional lab tests, newborn screening blood test, ultrasound and birth tub rental.

The fee is discounted for late-term transfer of care patients and for those with economic hardship; contact us if you would like to transfer your care from an OB to a midwife.

1 Vaginal Birth After Cesarean may be safely attempted if the mother meets certain criteria set forth by medical/practice protocols and guidelines.

2 If more time is necessary, mother and baby will be evaluated for necessity of a transfer to a hospital and /or a physician.

3 Midwives, licensed by the State of Texas, through the Texas Department of State Health Services, are authorized to provide well baby care for the first six weeks after birth, provided the newborn is healthy.

4Additional (optional) supplies may be desired and the client will be responsible for gathering these items, see Forms for additional information and list
