Many families are still more comfortable with bringing their child into the world, in a hospital environment. They do not, however, want to experience all of the typical interventions put forth by the by the hospital. That is where I come in! I serve as your liaison, throughout your labor, birth and postpartum. I will work with you, your partner, your doctor and the nurses, to empower you and remove any fear and vulnerability; we replace it with the strength and confidence needed to remain faithful in trusting your body's ability to give birth naturally!!

Standard Birth Doula Package:
During the pregnancy, I schedule a visit with the expectant mother and her partner, for a birth planning and "what to expect" session. Once labor begins, the mother will be joined by me in her home and I can monitor her progress until it is time to leave for the hospital for delivery. Most of the laboring is done comfortably in the home. I support all who are involved in the birth (mother, partner, etc) and I will remain with the mother throughout the labor and birth and then for approximately one hour after the birth.
